Ramayana is an epic story taken from ancient India, depicting a prince that struggles against the evils. The main characters of the story are Rama, Shinta and Hanoman that symbolize goodness and wisdom. Then Rahwana is an evil character that symbolizes greed and arrogance.
Ramayana Ballet performance is held just behind Prambanan temple, during the Summer season (May – October) you can see the performance in an open stage with Prambanan Temple in the background. It really captures the imagination, the epic story, traditional dance with skilled players and javanese instruments are just a perfect combination.
ITINERARY PRAMBANAN SUNSET TOUR AND RAMAYANA BALLET:
02:30 PM – 03:30 PM Pick-up at Hotel, heading to Prambanan Temple
03:30 PM – 06:00 PM Explore Prambanan Temple and Enjoy the beautiful sunset
06:00 PM – 07:30 PM Have a Dinner (optional with personal expense)
07:30 PM – 09:30 PM Enjoy to see the live Performance of Ramayana Ballet
09:30 PM – 10:00 PM Transfer back to the Hotel. End of The Tour!

NOTE:
Ramayana Ballet Show is not available everyday, usually just 3 times per week.
The open stage performance is only available in the summer season from May to October, the other month will be held in an indoor stage.
