ITINERARY MOUNT SUMBING AND SINDORO TREKKING TOUR 4D3N:

DAY 1: YOGYAKARTA – MOUNT SINDORO HIKING

Pick up from your hotel in Yogyakarta or Borobudur area and drive about 2–3 hours to Mount Sindoro basecamp. After a short break, enjoy lunch and trekking preparation. Begin your hike to the campsite (Post 3 or 4), approximately 3–4 hours, depending on pace. Witness the sunset over the surrounding volcanoes, including Mount Sumbing and Merbabu. Enjoy dinner at the campsite and spend the night in a tent under the stars, surrounded by nature.

DAY 2: MOUNT SINDORO SUMMIT – WONOSOBO CENTRAL JAVA

Wake early around 03:30 AM for a warm coffee or tea, then continue the trek to reach Mount Sindoro summit in about 1–1.5 hours. Enjoy a spectacular sunrise at 3,150 meters and panoramic views of Mount Sumbing, Merbabu, and the surrounding highlands. Descend back to the campsite for breakfast, then continue descending to the hiking basecamp (approx. 2–3 hours). Afterward, transfer about 2 hours to Wonosobo Regency near Mount Sumbing. Check in at the hotel, relax, and prepare for the next day’s trek.

DAY 3: WONOSOBO – MOUNT SUMBING HIKING

Check out from the hotel around 11:00 AM and drive a short distance to Mount Sumbing basecamp in Garung Village. After lunch and preparation, begin trekking to the campsite (Post 3), which takes around 3–4 hours depending on your pace. Relax at the campsite and enjoy the sunset view over Mount Sindoro and surrounding valleys. Have dinner at the campsite and spend the night in a tent, experiencing the serene highland atmosphere.

DAY 4: MOUNT SUMBING SUMMIT – YOGYAKARTA

Wake up at 02:30 AM for a warm drink, then hike about 2 hours to reach the Mount Sumbing summit (3,371m). Witness a breathtaking sunrise over Mount Sindoro, Mount Merbabu, and the surrounding Central Java landscape. After exploring the summit, descend to the campsite for breakfast, then continue descending to the hiking basecamp (approx. 3 hours). Drive back to Yogyakarta and transfer to your hotel or airport. End of the Tour!
