Mount Sindoro is an active volcano located in Central Java, about 2,5 hours drive from Yogyakarta or 1,5 hours drive from Borobudur Temple. This beautiful mountain still has volcanic activity and recorded last erupted in 1906.

Mount Sindoro has moderate difficulty for trekking tours, the summit stands at 3.136 meters above sea level. It takes about 6 hours to hike through local houses, farmland, and green forest to get to the summit from the hiking basecamp.

DAY 1: YOGYAKARTA – MOUNT SINDORO CAMPSITE
09:30 AM – 12:00 PM Pick-up in Yogyakarta / Borobudur Area, continued drive to Mt Sindoro
12:00 PM – 01:00 PM Arrive at the hiking basecamp, having lunch and preparation
01:00 PM – 05:00 PM Start to hike the beauty of Mount Sindoro via Wonosobo until Post 3 (Campsite)
05:00 PM – 08:00 PM Enjoy the sunset view then have a dinner that prepared by the guide & porter
08:00 PM – 02:30 AM Experience stay overnight under millions of stars and rest for the next day

DAY 2: MOUNT SINDORO SUMMIT – YOGYAKARTA
02:30 AM – 03:00 AM Wake up early for hot drink and snack before summit attack
03:00 AM – 05:00 AM Enjoy morning hike to get Mount Sindoro summit point
05:00 AM – 06:00 AM Witness the stunning sunrise with views overlooking Mount Sumbing
06:00 AM – 08:00 AM Explore the summit area with its twin crater
08:00 AM – 10:00 AM Return to the campsite and have a breakfast
10:00 AM – 01:00 PM Descent to Mt Sindoro hiking basecamp
