Mount Lawu administratively located in between Central Java and East Java Province, the closest city to get Mount Lawu are Solo City and Yogyakarta. We will need to drive about 3,5 hours from Yogyakarta or 1,5 hours from Solo City. As one from so many active volcanoes in Indonesia, Mount Lawu in Java has been dormant for a long time and last erupted in 1885.

The highest elevation of Mount Lawu stands at 3.265 meters above sea level, accompanied by an experienced hiking guide you will hike Mount Lawu Via Cemoro Sewu Village (1901 meters above sea level). From the hiking basecamp to reach the summit will take about 6-7 hours hike through pine forest and green savana. Mount Lawu is classified as easy to moderate for hiking activity, everyone who has good stamina and fit enough can join on this tour.

DAY 1: YOGYAKARTA – MOUNT LAWU TOUR
07:00 AM – 10:30 AM Pick-up at Hotel in Yogyakarta / Solo Area, drive to Mount Lawu
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM Arrive at Mt Lawu Hiking Basecamp, Registration & Preparation
11:00 AM – 05:00 PM Hiking activity to the campsite at post V via Cemoro Sewu Route
05:00 PM – 07:00 PM Enjoy the sunset moment and have dinner that prepared by Guide & porter
07:00 PM – 03:30 AM Camp overnight under the beautiful sky and rest for the next day

DAY 2: MOUNT LAWU SUMMIT – YOGYAKARTA
03:30 AM – 04:00 AM Early wake up for hot drink (tea/coffee) before summit attack
04:00 AM – 05.00 AM Experience morning hike to reach the peak of Mount Lawu  on 3.265m
05:30 AM – 07:00 AM Enjoy the stunning Sunrise then explore summit area
07:00 AM – 09:00 AM Return to the campsite, feast breakfast and packing
09:00 AM – 01:00 PM Descent to the hiking basecamp in Cemoro Sewu Village
01:00 PM – 04:30 PM Drive back to Yogyakarta / Solo City, transfer to hotel. Say Goodbye!
