DAY 1: ARRIVAL – MOUNT MERBABU CAMPING

Upon arrival at Yogyakarta Airport, train station, or hotel, travelers are welcomed by an English speaking driver and transferred to Mount Merbabu hiking basecamp. After arrival, take time for lunch (optional) and complete trekking preparation with a local guide. The hike begins in the early afternoon, passing through forest trails and open mountain landscapes on the way to the campsite at Post 4. In the late afternoon, arrive at the campsite, set up tents, and enjoy sunset views over the surrounding mountains. Dinner is served at the campsite, followed by an overnight camping experience under the stars.

DAY 2: MOUNT MERBABU SUMMIT – YOGYAKARTA CITY AREA

Early in the morning, wake up for hot drinks before starting the summit hike to Mount Merbabu at 3,142 meters above sea level. Reach the summit in time to enjoy breathtaking sunrise views and panoramic scenery overlooking Mount Merapi and nearby volcanoes. After returning to the campsite for breakfast, continue the descent to Mount Merbabu Basecamp in Selo Village. The journey then continues with a transfer back to Yogyakarta, hotel check in, and free time to rest in the evening.

DAY 3: BOROBUDUR TEMPLE SUNRISE – PRAMBANAN TEMPLE

The day begins early with a pre-dawn transfer to Setumbu Hill to witness a stunning sunrise with Mount Merapi and Mount Merbabu as the backdrop. After sunrise, enjoy breakfast (optional) before continuing to Borobudur Temple.
