For 2 days in Yogyakarta you will visit Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple as the legacy of the Great Javanese ancient kingdom. Visit Sultan Palace where the king of Yogyakarta lives and visit Tamansari Water Castle as the royal family recreation park in the past with unique architecture.

Move to East Java you will explore Mount Bromo that is well known as the widest caldera in Indonesia. Enjoy the spectacular sunrise with mountainous view and lush green savana. Ride a jeep adventure to cross the black sea of sand and take 250 steps up to reach Mount Bromo Crater Rim, then see the smoking active volcano from a short distance.

ITINERARY BROMO IJEN TOUR PACKAGE 5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS:

DAY 1: ARRIVAL – PRAMBANAN TEMPLE
The first day our English speaking driver will pick you up at Yogyakarta Airport, then proceed to visit Prambanan Temple, an ancient Hindu Temple that was built in 9th Century with very complex reliefs that contain the story from Hindu manuscript. Transfer to hotel, Check-IN & Rest.

DAY 2: BOROBUDUR SUNRISE – SULTAN PALACE – TAMANSARI WATER CASTLE
To be picked up from your hotel at 04:00 AM, heading to Borobudur area. Enjoy the mystical sunrise from Setumbu Hill overlooking Mount Merapi, Mount Merbabu and Borobudur Temple in the distance. After Sunrise then Visit Borobudur Temple including climbing the monument until the 9th floor and the stupa area. Drive back to Yogyakarta in about an hour, Visit Sultan Palace and Tamansari Water Castle guided by an English Speaking local Guide. Return to Hotel & Rest.

DAY 3: YOGYAKARTA – CEMORO LAWANG VILLAGE BROMO
After having breakfast & Check-Out Hotel, drive for about 7 hours to Cemoro Lawang Village in Bromo Area, on the way you are free to stop for lunch in Surabaya or Probolinggo Area at personal expense. Arrive at Cemoro Lawang Village, Check-In Hotel and enjoy the afternoon moment in Bromo, Free Time and Rest for the next day.

DAY 4: MOUNT BROMO TOUR – BONDOWOSO VILLAGE/IJEN
Wake up at 03:00 AM, take a Jeep 4WD to get to the view point (Pananjakan / Kingkong Hill), Catch stunning sunrise views overlooking Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru. Next drive to visit Mount Bromo through the black sea of sand, Take a short trek of 250 steps up to Bromo Crater Rim then get to see the active smoking crater. Return to Hotel to have breakfast & Check-Out Hotel, Drive for about 5 hours to Bondowoso Village near Ijen Area. Check-In Hotel, Free Program & Rest for tomorrow.

DAY 5: IJEN CRATER BLUE FIRE – BANYUWANGI PORT / BALI
The Ijen Crater tour starts at 01:00 AM from your Hotel then drives about 1,5 hours to Ijen Paltuding Post. Guided by an experienced English speaking guide you will enjoy early morning trekking to Ijen Crater, about 1,5-2 hours reach the top of Mt Ijen then descend into the crater. Get to see the blue fire Phenomenon, explore the beautiful lake and its caldera. Return to Ijen Paltuding Post, take a break for breakfast, Transfer to Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi where you can take the ferry to Bali. See you on the next trip!
