Stand on 3.145 m Mount Merbabu classified as an easy to moderate for hiking activity, it needs about 4-5 hours hike from basecamp to reach the summit.

Mount Sumbing is the third highest mountain in Java that stands at 3371 m, it takes about 5-6 hours to hike from the basecamp to reach the summit. Most people will do hiking with camping 2 days and 1 night for this mountain, because it will be not too tiring, enjoy the hiking with no rush, offer a beautiful sunset and sunrise view.

ITINERARY MOUNT MERBABU AND MOUNT SUMBING HIKING TOUR 4D3N

DAY 1: YOGYAKARTA – MOUNT MERBABU HIKING
Picked up by our friendly driver at Yogyakarta or BorobudurArea, drive about 1,5 – 2 hours to Merbabu. Take a short break, have lunch and preparation then hike Mount Merbabu about4 hours to reach the campsite (Post 4). Enjoy the sunset view overlookingMerapi volcano, continued to have dinner. Experience to stay overnight in a tent under millions of stars and rest.

DAY 2: MOUNT MERBABU SUMMIT – WONOSOBO CENTRAL JAVA
At 03:30 AM wake early for hot coffee or tea, morning hike aboutan hour to get to Mt Merbabu summit. Enjoy the stunning sunrise on 3.145m andexplore the summit area. Back to campsite at post 4 to have breakfast, Continueddescent to the hiking basecamp about 3 hours. Take 2 hours drive to WonosoboRegency in Central Java, transfer to Hotel. Check-In & Rest.

DAY 3: WONOSOBO CENTRAL JAVA – MOUNT SUMBING HIKING
Check-Out Hotel at 12:00 PM then a short drive to Mt SumbingHiking Basecamp in Garung Village. After having lunch and preparation experience3,5 hours hiking activity of Mt Sumbing to reach the campsite (Post 3). Relax and enjoythe sunset view, have dinner then stay overnight in a tent.

DAY 4: MOUNT SUMBING SUMMIT – YOGYAKARTA
At 02:30 AM wake early for hot coffee or tea,morning hike to get Mt Sumbing summit in about 2 hours. Witness the magicalsunrise on 3371m overlooking Mount Sindoro, after exploring the summit area return tothe campsite. Have breakfast then descend to the hiking basecamp for about 3 hours. Drive back to Yogyakarta, transfer to Hotel or Airport. End of Service!
