Where is Jomblang Cave?
The amazing Jomblang cave located in Gunung Kidul District, Yogyakarta of Indonesia. It takes about 1,5 hours to drive from Yogyakarta city center.
What to Expect of Jomblang Cave Tour?
The whole tour activity in Jomblang Cave is made up of a few parts. Rappel down into a 60m deep vertical cave with catrol system, once everyone is down at the bottom, some of the experienced caving guide will take you down the muddy tunnel for about 300m to the end of the cave.
Then you will find another vertical cave named Grubug cave that is famous as a point to witness the light beams down into the magical underworld. Get to see the towering stalactites, stalagmites and other fascinating rock formations that will amaze you.
Done to explore the Grubug Cave and take some beautiful photos, back to the previous cave and there are about 20-30 local people who will pull you up from the cave.
ITINERARY JOMBLANG CAVE DAY TOUR:
07:00 AM – 08:30 AM Pick-up at Hotel, heading to Jomblang Cave
08:30 AM – 09:30 AM Short relax with Hot drink (tea or Coffee) & Preparation
09:30 AM – 12:30 PM Experience caving activity of an Amazing Jomblang Cave
12:30 PM – 01:30 PM Have lunch with local food at Jomblang
01:30 PM – 03:00 PM Transfer back to the Hotel, End of the Tour!

NOTES:
Jomblang cave has only one group departure per day at 9:30AM, visitors can’t just get there at any time, so you must get there before 9:30AM.
There is a visitor limit per day for 80 people who can take part of the experience, so booking the tour in advance is the best option.
Caving Equipment are provided, Such as; Hardness, Helmet and Boots.
